Environmental Agreement and CLAVNA to Promote Sustainability in the Audiovisual Sector

Navarra is advancing towards sustainability in the audiovisual sector with the signing of a strategic agreement between the General Directorate of Environment of the Government of Navarra and CLAVNA, the Audiovisual Cluster of Navarra. This two-year agreement, signed by Ana Bretaña and Miguel Iturralde, aims to reduce the carbon footprint in film shoots and raise awareness about the importance of adopting sustainable practices.

Miguel Iturralde emphasized: “This agreement reaffirms our commitment to sustainability and positions us at the forefront in the fight against climate change in the creative sector. Sustainable shoots are necessary, and CLAVNA is determined to lead this change.”

The initiatives include training actions on the Navarra Environmental Education Strategy for Sustainability (ENEAS) and collaboration in events that promote sustainability in productions. With this agreement, Navarra positions itself as a pioneer in implementing sustainable practices in the audiovisual field, demonstrating that responsible shoots are essential.
