The Audiovisual Cluster of Euskadi (EIKEN) at the extraordinary assembly of RedCAUheld at the Zinemaldi

The Spanish Network of Audiovisual Clusters (RedCAU) held its Extraordinary Assembly on September 25 during the 72nd edition of the San Sebastián International Film Festival. At this meeting, which took place at Tabakalera and was organized by the Audiovisual Cluster of Catalonia, representatives from nine associations in the audiovisual and digital content sector of Spain gathered to discuss industry advancements, evaluate the last year’s performance, and define the work plan for the coming year. Topics discussed included innovation, digitalization, the creation of collaborative infrastructures, training, and analysis of regulatory policies. The creation of new clusters in Madrid, Andalusia, and Valencia was highlighted as a milestone in cooperation and representation within the sector. Founded in 2021, RedCAU aims to strengthen the Spanish audiovisual industry at both national and international levels by promoting knowledge exchange, research and development, as well as attracting investments and talent. This meeting is considered essential to address the rapid changes occurring in the industry.
