What is a cluster?
It is the combination of companies and knowledge and/or technology providers in a geographical space, actively involved in collaborative exchange processes, aimed at obtaining advantages and benefits derived from the execution of joint projects of an innovative nature, around a target market or market segment.
The aim of a cluster is to facilitate innovative practices that improve the competitiveness of companies in a specific sector and their international projection and visibility.
What is CLAVNA?
This is the Navarra Audiovisual Cluster project. A non-profit association, constituted in January 2017, which seeks to provide a professional and ambitious response to the audiovisual industrial sector within the framework of the Smart Specialisation Strategy of Navarra. CLAVNA aims to be a channel for projects, funders, investments and training proposals that have a direct impact on the Audiovisual sector and that include Navarra in the international audiovisual panorama.
Goals:
• Promoting innovation and knowledge to increase the competitiveness of their companies
• Internationalisation of the sector
• Generate collaboration synergies between public institutions, private companies, knowledge and industrial development centres
• To carry out strategic advice and monitoring of the sector
• Presence and networking for the internationalisation and sales of regional products and projects
• To collaborate in projects with a cohesive projection and structure for the generation of employment, good practices and positioning of the region within the framework of cultural industries
• To make the Navarrese audiovisual industrial sector visible as a quality brand of its own

He is responsible for the planning, management, control and supervision of the cluster and its projects, with extensive knowledge of the audiovisual sector, production and cultural management.

Member support, review of documentation and coordination of cluster events, with experience in audiovisual production and film shoots.
Iñaki Hulsman
Researcher in R&D&I
Research and development of new applications and other emerging technological solutions to improve processes, ensure efficient backups, implement new technologies such as AI and GPU and guarantee the integration of open source software in audiovisual projects with a special focus on the animation and video game industry.
